Eating berries

Study shows that eating berries can delay brain decline and helps with weight loss Customized fat loss info by Kyle Leon Women who consume large quantities of blueberries (blueberry) and strawberries suffer mental decline caused by age slower compared with women who consume few fruits rich in flavor nodes, says a U.S. study on Thursday (26).

Based on a survey of more than 16,000 women who answered questionnaires about their regular health habits from 1976 to 2001, the results show that those who ate more fruits delayed cognitive decline by up to 2.5 years.

Every two years from 1995 to 2001 the researchers measured the mental functions of people with more than 70 years, according to the study published in the Annals of Neurology. "We provide the first epidemiologic evidence that the 'berries' (red fruits) can delay the progress of cognitive decline in older women," says Elizabeth Devore, MD Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
"Our findings have significant implications for public health, since increasing the intake of red fruit is a fairly simple modification to test the protective cognition in older adults." Devore adds that the findings are of particular importance for the elderly population, which is growing.

The number of Americans aged 65 or more increased by 15% from 2000 to 2010, according to the U.S. Census. Robert Graham, MD, Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, who was not involved in the study, said that eating more red fruit is a good idea for people of any age with Customized fat loss torrent by Kyle Leon
